Hiya Guys,
Don't usually do OOTD post as I am really UN-PHOTOGENIC,but here goes......
Obey T-Shirt-£25.00-Well Gosh (Located in Leicester, available online)
Levi HighWaisted Jeans-£7.99-Charity Shop in Harlow
Faux Fur Jacket-£20.00-Topshop(Concession Brand)

Forgive me for my absence from the blogging world,I have been so busy with assignment deadlines and revision and whole bunch of other stuff, that my blog took a back seat.
You guys must get really tired of me saying that! LOL
But I digress I am back for a while.......
This picture was taken by my personal photographer(My mother) last month when I was in London for the Easter Term break from University.I have recently become obsessed with High-waisted jeans I blame Topshop's Joni jeans for my obsession. If you haven't got a pair I suggest you get your hands on some asap.
This outfit wasn't anything special I just threw it together really,I was on the way to running some errands around town, which is all I ever seem to be doing when I go London.

H&M Conscious Party Collection

H & M this Spring have officially announced their conscious party collection a branch from their conscious collection. Many of the clothing items are made from sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled Tencel, reinforcing the idea of creating "A more Sustainable Fashion Future".

The party collection offers a more of an sophisticated, chic and classic party look, drawing away from your typical short, tight body con party un samples. The bright creams and abstract designs add a sense of sophistication and high fashion to your average party attire at affordable prices. Many of the designs and patterns remind me of a mixture of Balenciaga abstract early designs meets the simplicity and chic-ness Sophie Hulmes SS13 collection. The cream, patterns and abstracts designs are essential for Spring-time night outs.

H&M on the fourth of April at 10:00am launched a live Conscious talk,The talk goes into depth about fashion becoming more sustainable in its nature and quality and the emergence of many companies in this sustainable movement of fashion's future. As consumers the talk referred to us as consumers being to a certain degree un-educated in terms of our information about sustainability of clothing and the impact it can have on our value and consumer habits of clothes.
The generally argument throughout the debate is how consumer habits have almost tricked and deceived us into buying cheaper clothing items that don't last rather than buy an expensive piece of clothing that would last a long time.We would rather purchase the same cheap top repeatedly than purchase a quality top that is more sustainable.Overall Personally I believe if sustainable items were cheaper we as fashion consumers would more than likely be more interested in purchasing sustainable clothing.
